from Our Pastor

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the St. Giles Presbyterian Church website. We are pleased you have decided to visit with us in cyber-space. We invite you to visit with us in real space.

We are a church with open doors and a warm welcome waiting for everyone, from the visitor passing through the community, to the military family stationed here for a few months or years, to people who have put down permanent roots in our area.

Our welcome is apparent in all areas of our church from our practice of admitting all people to the sacraments of The Lord's Supper and Baptism, to our open youth programs, to pastoral care.

As you browse our website, we hope you will find something that will pique your interest enough to motivate you to come and visit with us in person.

St. Giles Presbyterian Church

The session of St. Giles has adopted a five-year strategic plan based on input from congregational surveys and meetings, committee activities and reports, and area demographical information. As a part of this plan, four Key Focus Areas were identified along with a Mission Statement and a statement of Organization Values.

Our Mission is to be the church of Jesus Christ, sharing the Good News of God's Love, by worshipping, serving and nurturing.

Our Key Focus Areas are: Worship, Church Growth/Evangelism, Developing Individual Faith and Church Family and Service to Others - Missions/Community.
